The fields of action on whose he is to today operated:

1. Search and mapping of the principal run of the Francigena Way in the line among Pont Saint Martin (AO) and Cavaglià (BI) up to the border with the Province of Vercelli.

2. Involvement of the local Administrations in the choices of the runs, search and obtainment of the sharing of the effected choices, mapping with G.P.S. of the runs and recognition near the European association of the Vie Francigene

3. Analysis of the runs turned to the safety of the same and signaling near the launchings communes of interventions improved for the most urgent cases and to term for all the other improvements to also practise him in the various areas of standstill displaced on the itinerary.

4. Detailed study of the various works to be performed for every Common with the exposure of the details of intervention for the part of run related to the Province in Turin. Such documentation has been used then by the Communes themselves, for the presentation of the documentation related to the application of financing in the Province for the suitable works.

5. Interventions near the various organs of the European association of the Francigene Ways and of the other interested Corporate for the recognition of the Canavese line, way poorly known in the geography, in the historical-cultural values, in the naturalistic and landscape aspects.

6. Constitution of a group of "Voluntary of the Way Francigena" for the management of the itinerary, the assistance to the pilgrims in transit, the accompaniment of groups of people of interested associations but above all to the accompaniment of scholastic groups and young people.
   The Voluntary experts of the runs and the zones, prepared to describe the various monuments, they constitute a precious patrimony of the association and for the knowledge of the zones interested by the run to of the surrounding areas.

7. Among the objectives, the continuous search of the historical documentations on the places, on the monuments on the uses and customs and on the local traditions, with the purpose to enrich the dawning center of documentation to make of whoever desire available or is interested to deepen his/her own historical-cultural knowledges on to unwind some pilgrimage in the centuries and to the developments that this has created in the relationships among the European people, with the exchanges that have brought to the birth of the European culture.
   And' creates a photographic file, in continuous evolution, that has allowed the preparation of a DVD, largely used in the presentations of the activity of the group and the particularities that the itinerary introduces to whom wants to document before undertaking the trip of crossing of the Piedmontese territory.

8. Action toward the scholastic institutions, of sensitization toward the matter " Francigena Way", which is lent to the treatment of various interesting matters to didactic level, what: the historical-cultural aspect, the landscape aspect offered by the orography of the territories, the naturalistic aspect related to the entire part still in the zones crossed with the lakes, the great morainic amphitheater, the Line Insubrica, finds of lake-dweller installations and all the so different specific particularities among them presents on the run.
   For everything this they have been prepared some proposals for the various Comprehensive Didactic Directions of driven excursions of one or more days with the free accompaniment of the our Voluntary using the various present structures on the run for the standstill and the overnight stay and organizing the necessary moves.
   Activities are been experimented with it happened by some local scholastic institutes.

9. Contribution to the organization of the existing installations to improve its efficiency for the Italian Pilgrims and foreigners that, more and more numerous, that cross the Francigena Way.
   Besides a study started on the possible creation of other analogous structures on the run to optimize the removal and to increase the receptiveness.

10. And' is effected a detailed study on the system of signs to position on the run, equipped by a photographic documentation detailed of the signalling , introduced to the Town administrations, for the approval and the authorization to the laying.

11. Among the various proposals of activity received by Corporate body and interested Associations to the Francigena Way have assumed importance the application of groups of Bykers to cross the itinerary in bicycle. To face these applications is provided to the verification of the travelling over of the layout.
    The organized “pedals" with some Institutes of Ivrea and Caluso aroused enthusiasm and interest and therefore will be repeated in the years to come.

12. Conferences and Congresses have finally been organized on the theme Francigena Way both to Ivrea and in other Communes along the run, have seen the share of personality of the world of the culture, of the Church, of the Region, of the Province in Turin.

To everything this the great appointment is relatively added for the sensitization and the knowledge toward a new matter for our territory what the Francigena Way and all of this that it represents in historical-cultural, spiritual, naturalistic, tourist and sporting terms.
